With the advent of new materials there are now many different solutions to prevent roosting birds with the use of spiking systems. We will always consider the individual circumstances before choosing a system and its fixing method.

Once installed spikes can be hard to spot and will last for several years before replacement is required. All spikes are installed with the appropriate long lasting silicone adhesive or screwed into place. The most common spikes we install are stainless steel or plastic. The stainless steel spikes of choice that we use are Avipoint P20. We also use P14 for thinner ledges, P32 for wider ledges and G20 for the prevention of seagulls. In damp settings instead of silicone we use Avifix, a stronger hard wearing silicone.

Spikes are available in stainless steel, galvanized, aluminum, copper or plastic.

We are able to obtain several colours of spikes including red, black, brown and green to blend in with buildings. The majority of these spikes are on a made to order basis so advanced ordering is required.
