My builder has installed spikes against gulls, but there not working?
Builders are not experts of bird control and they may have been installed incorrectly.
First you must check that the spikes installed are for the control of gulls and not just pigeons as this is the most common reason of failure.
Also check if the type of adhesive used is low-mod as more firm setting glue such as pink filler will not work!
In heavy pressure areas additional methods such as metal mesh or specialist gull netting may be required.
